The beginning

Why I Started This Blog?

You know the feeling when you’ve always had so much to say/share, yet sometimes no words seem to present themselves in your mind when you need them the most? That’s me writing my first fashion blog post. I’ve wanted to start my blog ever since I quit my job in Engineering two years ago and started my journey towards fashion, but being the perfectionist that I am, I always found excuses as to why it wasn’t the most perfect timing to do so. Now that I’m actually writing, I think it was just fear. It makes sense, for it’s always easier to communicate with people face-to-face, see real-time reactions, sense body-language rather than write about yourself or your experiences to people who don’t know you.

What changed my mind then? I recently started an online fashion certificate #ParsonsxTeenVogue, which I’m going to tell you all about in my future posts, and one of its most valuable pieces of advice is to connect. Connect with all the people I can and share my story, for some of you might be great connections in the fashion field, potential customers, or even awesome colleagues one day. Β However, the most intriguing part for me is what if you’re having a similar experience as mine and you need some support. It might not necessarily be in fashion, but the road of achieving your dreams is usually a lonely one and you’d want to get all the help you possibly could. So whether you’re reading these posts as I share them or sometime in the future, I hope you know you’re not alone. I hope I can inspire you to go for your dreams because happiness, greatness and well-being are our choice.

Here you’re gonna find all of my personal, travel and work experiences that helped and are still helping set me on the road to fashion design, and hopefully would end with me being one of the greatest designers of all time πŸ™‚ so Enjoyyyyy!!!

* P.S: Please excuse my English for it’s not my mother tongue πŸ˜‰

Love,

Dina
